Title application remittance advice forms, 1973-[ongoing].

Probate judges must remit motor vehicle title applications and fees collected to the Dept. of Revenue within one working day of receipt (see Ala. Code, 32-8-35[g]). A Title Application Remittance Advice form is completed and sent with the applications and fees. The form is a list that provides information about each application such as application number, vehicle owner's name, vehicle identification number, and type and amount of fees collected. The probate judge signs, dates, and retains a copy of the form. This record began in 1973 and continues to the present.
